The accidental 11.5:1 CR engine lives!

Back a few months I was bitching about my own stupidity in getting too aggressive with milling and wound up with an 11.5:1 static compression ratio engine. It's in the car and running. I made the swap to a modern cable clutch as well. (T5 swap was last year). I'm using the 264/274 112* cam from Mike as well as the 1.65 full roller rockers. Already had the dual headers and Weber 38.

Holy crap!! What a difference! The engine pulls really hard through the entire rpm range. The tank is full of 100 octane right now so I have to start work on the ping issue that I'm sure will be there with 93 octane.

Next:
Get the jets in the Weber tuned in right.
Get the MSD working again and get the DSII in.
Get the Edelbrock water/alcohol injection system installed and tuned.

What am I forgetting guys?

You can also look on ebay for one of the older Holley water injection setups. I used to run 11.5:1 on mine and I switched heads to lower it to 10.5:1

Have ran that for the past 3 years with 93 octane with no problems whatsoever while running the Holley unit.

Sometimes I add some rubbing alcohol into the mix when it gets really hot out! :D :D :D
