I want to convert to the later throttle cable because the old rod setup seems to bind and I can't get it right. Seems like most of you have used the 78 fairmont or 92 Mustang 4cyl one.
But my question is will it work right on the 67 stock carb? It looks more like the ball piece on the carb moves in more of an up and down movement on the 67 carb. But doesn't the later carb throttle move in more of a right to left movement? Won't the cable bind on the 67?
Would like to know for sure before I head down to the salvage yard.
