Throttle cable setup for the holley(pics)

Never done this before so look at my pics and tell me if there are any problems with the set up.







Everything seems to work fine. The load on the spring may be too much--but I thought I ould wait until I got it in the car and hooked up to the throttle linkage. I bought a v8 accelerator rod like cobrasix and I used the bracket type setup I saw on mustangeezers setup. Let me know what you think. I wanted a braided cable but the guys at the performance shop were all out---but I think I can get a steel braid kit to slide on it---just ain't sure where.

That looks good. The cable has a good straight angle to pull. I like the way you mounted the return spring...improvising can be fun.
