So I have this 59 f100 w/223l6

Putting a 4bbl intake on it with a Edelbrock 500 4bbl carb. Looks like the throttle linkage is gonna be a problem as the body of the carb is HUGE..

Anyone have any tips or suggestions on the best direction to mount the carb as well as the linkage issue??

Thanks in advance,

Brad

I'm just finishing up a bracket for the throttle linkage and kick-down cable for a 1980 ford with a 300. On that engine, it seems to work very well to mount the carb forward as it would be mounted on any v8. I then mounted the actual bracket to two intake bolts with studded heads at the back of the engine. I don't know if that would work for a 223 or not.

Meh...My intake and exh. is on the opposite side as the 300...I am probably going to have to get cretaive. Just hoping that someone else may have done something similar....heh

Thanks for the reply.
