I'm converting the '61 from linkage to '71 (Maverick) accelerator cable pedal. I have the accel pedal and cable but am unsure where it should punch through the firewall. Any one been there - done that and able to provide a reference or pic of the mod?.
Mount the pedal and drill a hole through the fire wall directly in front of the top of the pedal where the cable attaches. Does the cable attach to the fire wall with a screw or grommet?
