Just ordered and received new gears as part of fresheningy my 250. Discovered that NAPA factory has defaulted to 72-up specs on cam gear, seems to me. The cam gear has casting no.S414 but no etched nos. When degreeing, it checks as old s446 gear does. They have changed the chain also---crank gear seems same.
So, unless you want your valve timing left to someone else who doesn't care, degree your cam and cut 3 or 4 keyways in crank gear for advancing. If careful, you may do so yourself with a hand file.
Wish I had bought Mike's set!! Would have cost less too.
Also had to grind thrust plate cap screws to clear gear hub. What's th' world coming to?
Keep on Inlining, use care, good luck.
