Hey, im new here looks like a cool forum. As of now I have a '65 fastback sporting a 200 with 92,xxx miles on it. Im gonna tear it down and get a metal head gasket, ARP studs, and make sure that eerything is kosher. I also have a ct-26 turbo from a supra. This turbo is good for 9-19 psi. I am not new to turbos using EFI. But whats the deal with carbs? Id love some feed back. I assume that im gonna just run my intercooler piping into the carb? Since i want fairly high boost i want a blow thru style carb? What size carb am i looking at? and is there a source for turbo manifolds for the 200 or do i have to fab one? Thanks again.

The world of Turbos on the 200 is a fairly new one, so there arent any parts made specifically for it yet. Best thing to do is look for posts from Importkiller and see how he did it. Fastback stang huh, thats awesome!!! Im workin on a turbo 200 and would like to get it goin this summer or possibly next wintertime at the latest!

yea, i looked at his set up and i give him mad props for actually completing it suscesfully. But his J bend from the exhaust mani to the turbo seems lag inductive. Im probably gonna just weld the flange for my ct-26 to the 2nd cylinder area of the stock mani, and port it. ALl i really wanna know is about what kind of carb im gonna want for a 12+ psi set up. Thanks import killer id love to talk to u HIT UP MY THREAD!

Import is runnin a Holley 2300 rated at 350cfm. I am running the same 2300 but rated higher at 500cfm. Its your call, but you will have to modify it slightly to undergo boost without building a pressurized box around it (not hard) Just ask around and people will tell you what to do! I would like to get a turbo header or just bolt the turbo straight to the manifold because I am using a larger turbo and lag will be present as is I bet.

what turbo are u planning on running? if u ahve the money get a t04b, with like a .48 or .58 a/r. I think that it would be simple to make a turbo manifold just weld the flange from the turbo to a fabricated flange coming off the manifold, assuming there is room and bolt on. I plan on eventually using a FMIC....so ill try and get on this project as soon as time permits. Will i need a BOV with a carb?
