The Talon had an integral wastegate turbine as far as I know (7-9psi?). That could be changed of course, but running a lot of boost from a "smallish" turbo on a larger engine will make the turbo overspin and/or go out of efficiency range.
Do you have any specs on the turbo? You need to know the flow figures or at least the brand and size of the turbine/compressor before you know how well it will suit your application.
Because it's from such a smaller engine, it would come on boost low in the rpm range on the larger inline 6, and would reach it's flow, rpm, and efficiency limits quickly (possibly by 4,000 rpms if it's pretty small). OTOH, these engines don't breath well at all - not nearly as well as a Talon engine. This makes up for a lot of the difference in displacement.
