Are the tubes brazed together only ? No tig welding with steel?

Well I dropped the head off for the valve work, I'm going to ring and bearing a stock bottom end (just to make sure the thing will work) and to answer a few questions, I do have room to wrap the intake and exhaust with thermo wrap, and yes the intake and exhaust is welded, the brazing you see on the flange is added for support and to cure any chance of leaking, the brazing on the inside of the intake is there because I had a small pin hole when I pressure tested it and got tired of trying to weld up the pin hole, I have to finish up the waste gate flange then the intake is off to the coaters for thermo-coating, maybe in a month or so I'll know how it runs, Walt

Well all I sold my house and had to move so I put the motor on hold for a couple months, but I'm happy to say it's back, I changed my mind on a few things, I purchased some Carrillo Rods, the crank is at the shop getting offset ground the block goes to the shop tomorrow, and the head goes to a local porter for finish work, the pistons will be custom CP pieces should end up about 274 CU's when I get the parts back I'll take more pictures and give some flow numbers on the head

That's very impressive. How much are you going to bore and stroke it to get that many cubes?
