Turbo'd temps ??

Just curious, does a turbo setup present any additional heating issues ?
Will the stock fan, thermostat, waterpump handle it ? I've got a pretty tight engine bay in my Maverick (very similar to a Falcon), and want to cover all issues before install.
Thanks, Darrel

Mine all seemed o.k., it does get pretty hot but its been fine for decent road trips and in staging lanes creeping up but I havent been in a major traffic jam or anything...

The cooling sytem on mine is 100% stock right down to the stock 2 core rad. Heating has never been an issue at all.

Thanks ! Good to know.

the biggest heating problem I had was vacuum lines getting too close to the turbo and manifold... and melting them... so after I replaced them I moved em and now their good

If you're all that concerned, add an auxiliary oil cooler in front of the rariator. Other than the hoses, it uses up virtually zero room in the engine bay and will substantially reduce oil temps.

I have the copper 3-core, oil cooler, 10%anti-freeze/90% H2O with water wetter and at 100 degrees outside yesterday cruising @ 2500 rpm I saw 200 on the temp gauge.
