Ok no not the little parts that go around the valve, but the flat part is two pieces is this some sort of a swap? I have never seen these before.
 
I think they were the type originally used on the small sixes. Very uncommon here; they seem to have disappeared by about 1966. I get the impression the US motors may have hung on rather longer.
 
Yes,they are original equipment on the small sixes and V8's both. In fact the late 5.0 engines still used them on the intakes (exh has rotators). They are a bit different than one piece stuff,but work ok in an application that doesn't require a lot of rpm (say over 5000). They are kinda "sticky" to remove....you have to compress the spring then tap the small inner retainer with a hammer and punch to release the tapered keepers. I used the stock 5/16" inner part and keepers and coupled them with 5.0 intake spring outer retainers to get the proper valve spring height for my 200 build. Gave me approx .060" more installed height and worked out perfectly.
