Valve Lapping

I'm in the process of re-assembling the cylinder head for my 200. I have new exhaust valves. I'm wondering if I can use them if I lap them in? I've had no valve work done, just my old exhaust valves are in okay shape but I'm having a hard time lapping them back in place and getting a good clear band on the seats. The intakes are working out fine.

The seats look okay...just the exhaust valves look a little worn. The intakes are lapping up perfectly...I'll keep trying on the exhaust.
