Valve spring retainers

I need a full set of valve spring retainers for a 250. I have all new valves and springs but can't find retainers. Can anyone tell me what if any will interchange? I have checked all parts stores in my area.

Checked with Classic. Doesn't have them for stock springs. Still trying to find them. Looking for valve spring retainers for a 250. Any help would be great.

Ford 4.0L V6 one piece retainers work great.

My usual supplier doesn't carry the retainers or locks. The retainers I stock now, are for the single springs with dampers, and the dual springs. However, I spoke with them today and they told me where I might be able to get them. So I'll make a call tomorrow and see. If so, I'll order a bunch for stock. I'm also going to check on spring seats, shims, and guides.

I also talked to Clay Smith Cams and they are going to come up with a few solid lifter cam profiles, so I'll have them in stock in a couple of weeks.

Anything else you guys are having a tough time finding, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Along with Clay Smith, have you checked with Chet Herbert as well? I used to have a buddy who worked there, and used to get a few sets of titanium retainers from them, where real cheap and apparently they have them made and sell to alot of bigger name cam companies..
