Hello Everyone

Just got all the pistons out in my 200 and will be taking out the crank very shortly.I have kept track of what went where but was wondering what are my going to re-use and what is going to be replaced.I already know that I need boring and therefore new pistons but what else? Will I need new crank and bearing, rods etc.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

8) need new bearings and rings, as well as gaskets. have the crank and rods checked by the machine shop. crank journals tend to wear out of round, and rods tend to twist and bend slightly. both can be corrected easily enough though. i do however HIGHLY recommend new rod bolts be installed, preferably arp bolts.

If you allready have a aftermarket cam, you can reuse that also as long as you keep track of the order of the lifters.

Same goes for the fuel pump & water pump if they were bought new recently.

I think I will replace everything.

well you should see what need to be replaced first, and what should be replaced. if a part is marginal then replace it. if a part is good, but needs a little work to make it right, make it right. for example there is no need to replace valves that are in good shape, but need the valve face touched up. same with other hard parts. pistons are another matter because they take the brunt of combustion forces, and should be replaced at every rebuild regardless.
