What carb will work best?

I have a 62 Falcon club wagon with a 144 or 170 (it is blue so if it is original engine then it is 144) and now need a new carb for it. I had a Holley 1904 in it with the manual choke and would perfer not to use another 1904 because of the issues I have had with it in the past. Does anyone know what can be used without having to change a bunch of other stuff and works well?

a 62 140/170 will have the smaller 1.5 inch hole, so anything with a 200ci up to 68 will fit and bolt on. no mod, just tune and drive.

many swear by the autolite carbs. and I can understand why as I have used them too. I love them.

I believe up to a 1967 will work, remember you need a carb with the loadamatic feature, the 68 engine went to a different distributor. Bill
