What size adapter?

I found a guy who is selling a clifford adapter off a 83 200 will that fit a 65 200 i looked on the website and saw that there are two adapters 2 3/4 and 3 5/8 anyone know which one that 83 has? Thanks

The hole in the base of the adaptor will not fit the intake hole on your head. The 83' head has a 1.75 hole your head has a 1.5.
What carb do you want to mount?

The Falcon Performance Handbook also recomends tapering the intake manifold hole outward to 1.75" so the hole of the spacer matches the intake manifold hole.

Call Scott Quest at SnS Engines in Washington State. He has 1.75" to 1.5" adapators. (Larger bore to smaller bore adaptor...not the other way.
I have no idea of cost. Jon at Pony begged me for this info and I gave it to him. It's a high quality piece in aluminum...very nice.

I opened mine up to go 1.75" both ways and it works great.

the adapter came with the holley 5200 on it all ready needs a rebuild..so when i bought it for 13 bucks i thought will that adapter is 50 bucks and that carb is 65 or so but the adapter i can resell i guess and buy the stovebolt or smaller clifford.
