i dont care about cost this will be a long time project, i want a full on race car that i can still drive short distances on the street to car shows, i plan on putting forged pistons roller rockers shot-peen connecting rods, classic inlines push rods, dual roller timing chain, ARP studs on everything, dual pattern cam, not sure on degree yet, aluminum head with fuel injection, t-3/4 turbo with 15 to 20 lbs of boost, getting rotating assembly and clutch balanced, water injection with intercooler, t5 tranny 9" rear end not sure on gear ratios i want torque, some sort of high output ignition system not the DUI maybe the mallory or stock duraspark, and im not sure on fuel entirely id like to add a small amount of nitromethane if i could get away with it

what should i focus on after taking the 200 apart

Depends on what you want to get out of the car. I suggest this post be moved to the SBS section. Then, edit your post and describe your goal - compression, driving style, etc. Look at my post in my sig as an example of how to get started. Great resources here helped me create exactly what I wanted.


If only those resources would have supplied the funding as well!
