Wiring a 67 200ci

Hey guys, I started to try and wire the engine in my 67 mustang but the previous owner made spaghetti of the wires. Now i have decided to take out all the old wires and start from scratch. My question to you is what gauge wire is used in the engine compartment, and were would i purchase the wires that are the correct colors.

Have you check any of the Mustang vendors? Most of them have complete engine compartment harnesses.

If you want to do a harness yourself, consider upgrading some of the wires to handle future upgrades such as halogen lights, and a high capacity alternator.
