X-Flow EFI manifold onto a 250 2V head?

Has anyone ever looked at the feasibility of adapting an EFI manifild from an X-Flow head to a 250-2V head? I think the critical thing would be the port spacing and maybe injector bung locations.

I'm thinking some flavor of port matched adapter to deal with any spacing issues.

thoughts?

1.The rocker cover arrangement is taller than the cross flow by about 50 mm or so. It will be a tight fit under the bonnet of a later Ford.

2. The EFI plenumb has to be reversed.

3. There needs to be a set of custom tube bends made to mate to the existing 2V type flange. The stock cast alloy tubes won't fit.

4. The injector bosses could fit in the cast iron intake runner, or, as a last, inferior resort, be placed in the tube bends.

Here is an old link. http://fordsix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6298&highlight=efi+2v+250

What if you fabbed the lower out of steel and used the upper off of a 4.9?
Na, to tall.
I wonder what other uppers could be adapted. BMW, Mercedes?

Nissan L26T intakes have been known to be used on Holden Black (12-port) motors. custom lower intakes have been fabbed for the purpose, unsure about performance numbers, however they're supposed to go pretty hard...
