okay, after reading a few, I had the YT rockers installed and didn't know about the oiling issues. what to do now the engine is built and in the car? I don't want to waste what's in there...... rockers, cam, and DUI, before getting it going.

Since you have it all assembled, just look for an oil leak at the left rear of the engine at the head gasket.
If you develop a leak & pull the head plug the oil pressure passage in the block.
Also to get more oiling to the distributor gear, grind a small flat in #2 & #3 lifters at the top to the oil annulus on those 2 lifters. They will then supply extra oiling to the distributor gear. Bill

Bill, do you have a picture of the modified lifters you can post? Mine is together but not installed and I might pull the head to make the change.

Scot, this one is done with a dremel tool, but now I grind a flat about .035" wide.
