Valve Stem Lubrication?

Just cleaned up the head on my 200. Degooked the rocker arms, cleaned the holes and installed them on a new rocker arm shaft.

Can anyone explain to me how the valve stems are lubricated? I just don't see how oil gets to that valve half of the head.

Thanks!

Mostly by dribble. The oil just dribbles from the Rocker arms on to the valve stems. Same for the push rods. The valves actually need no oil except for the top of the stem that's in contact with the rocker arm. The valve stem seals prevent oil from getting sucked down to the combustion chamber.

Thanks for the reply Steve... I figured that was what the hole on the rocker arm was for... Ed
