Valve lash specs for 144ci small six

What tolerance, and how do I adjust the valve lash on my 1962 inline strait 6 engine? Thanks--Jeremy

Does that engine have the mechanical "zero-lash" rockers?

There's hydraulic lifters, and solid lifters. I have a solid.

my 62 shop manual supplement says 0.018 exhaust and intake.

My book shows .016" Hot for solids.

Ford used a bizarre zero-lash mechanical rocker on some sixes during this time frame but my book is unclear as to which engines had them. I have never personally seen an engine equipped with these oddities which seem to be neither fish nor fowl but my book has a pretty good set of illustrations.

I will be adjusting my engine cold. So that means 0.018, right?
