Okey, my previous adventures can be read from the "Your comments on my upgrades" topic earlier.
Thanks to this great Forum I've learned that my 1946 is running rich and is painful to setup; we'll, I'll still try my car with a rebuilt 1946, I've just got a rebuild kit coming and and have an extra carb to put in while rebuilding.
What I discovered was a Carter YF lying just on the shelf of my garage, totally cleaned and ready to go. I got one say a year ago and took it apart, cleaned everything and put it back together. I though it was for an early head but just discovered it has 1.75" bore...how would you experienced people consider that over a 1946 in my car?
Second q: I have a 2V oz-250 adaptor from FSPP on it's way here, and one spare E0 head ready to be rebuilt. Thought of having the log shaved a little bit to accept that adaptor right on top of it. Well then, what carb to put on it? There are cheap '60s V8 Autolite 2100s around, are they a good choice or what would you recommend?
Third q: where to find cfm ratings for carbs? For example the 2100?
Run out of q now, thanks for your answers once again in advance...
