I did a compression check this weekend and all six cylinders came out to 150 psi. Except for #4 which was 152.
Are these good numbers? I know that having all numbers the same are a good thing but my motor manual and other manuals do not list a specific psi range, just that they all should be within 10% of each other. I think the 1982 engine compression ratio is 8.6:1.
I bought this car four years ago and don't know the history on it at all except that it runs very smooth. I do get a little smoke due to the valve stem seals leaking on #2,3 and 4. (I know this because of the spark plug condition on those cylinders).
