200 / 6 timing

I just finished A 200 six and need to know about timing.I believe stock is 12 degrees before TDC I need to know where to start on A built engine and what total advance should be.The engine is bored 30 thousandth,and compression is 9.9 to 1 the cam is 264/264 hydrolic with 112 lob centers the head is A large log off of A 83 Ford Ganata with Weber 2 barrel carb ,the timing chain is A double roller that advances the cam timing 4 degrees Duraspark ignition and of corse an exhaust 3 into 2 header this is in front of A C-4 tranny, rear gear ratio unknown

Hey howdy and welcome.
12 degrees will do you fine for initial start-up.
36° total. A DS2 has a slot plate that gives you two options for the distributor.
Do you know where it's set at?
