I have a 250 out of a 69 mustang and want to know what changes i will have to make to install it in my 67 mustang with three speed trans and 200ci. Also want to know if the five lug susspension from the 69 will work on the 67 to replace the four lug setup.
Thanks
Steve

Please forgive any mistakes since Im not the expert.

250 I6 sits higher so would require you to use Maverick motor mounts to lower the height.

The 200 I6 uses a unique bellhousing. The 250 I6 uses a SB Ford V8 bellhousing pattern. You will need a different bellhousing to mount the 3 speed to the 250 I6. I think you will need a diffferent flywheel for the 250 I6 but can use the stock 3 speed clutch disc and pressure plate.

I would check here for some good info.

It was also my understanding that 67-70 Mustangs use the same suspension parts.
