I understand that some of you are using the 3.8 v6 (I believe) m90 supercharger. However I did try a search on the subject of using this supercharger, but nothing concrete on the do's and don'ts. Could someone please give me some info on the supercharger or some threads I can follow. Any help would me great. Thanks.

Can you adapt any of the GM parts? There were and still are a bunch of blown 3800's out there. Im not sure I have ever seen one of the fords so I have no idea how they were laid out. I dont know if they were not that common or if they were not that popular in my area.

The GM 3800 version.

TB comes straight in the back and it blows directly into the intake.

The Thunderbird Supercoupe 3.8 Version (lifted from someone's eBay auction)

TB comes in the back, and it blows into a pipe to the intake. (The sqaure hat at the top of the picture bolts to the output of the supercharger)

IIRC Eaton has some decent information on their webpage about how the things work, but the site appears to be broken at the moment.

Magnuson is a pretty good resource on Eaton blowers in general. http://www.magnusonproducts.com/

Specifics for our applications? I've not seen much if anything. I'm planning on learning as I go along when I finally get that far...

Thanks for the info, You can buy these real cheap and I think they can be adapted to the ford inline very easily, OK that may be stretching a bit, let me rephrase. I believe it "could" be adapted to an inline six. Does anyone have experience with this supercharger?

So the reason the ford one is better than the buick one is the ford already has the pipe for the output that could me more easily modified to an inline? Other than that they kinda look alike to me but im not a forced induction guy.

Should recieve my 91 tbird supercharger and all piping and intercooler sometime this week I won on ebay for 280.00 bucks about a week ago. 351.00 with shipping.
