500cfm holley diaphram

i changed the diaphram from 50cc's to 30, my thought is that if i reduce the cc the engine will not waste as much fuel on accel and it will accel faster, i think i need to get a different accel pump cam also to get better throttle response

From past posts, the 50 cc pump with the brown cam is the only way to go on the 500.

You need to experiment with the accerator nozzle size. Too much & it lacks power in the 60' time, too little & you will have a bog or flat spot.

Mustang geezer has real times to prove the above.
