I have been getting some great help with my porject to add power steering to my 66 cvt. but I am very confused about how the factory drove the altenrator, water pump, A/C compressor and power steering pump on a 66 200 six.
On my 66 fbk there appears to be a dual v-belt harmonic balancer. There is also a double belt water pump pully. The A/C compressor has a single belt pully. One belt is positioned on the block side groove of the balancer pully around the block side pully of the water pump and around the alternator. The 2nd belt goes on the outer balancer pully (radiator side) around the outer water pump pully and around the A/C compressor.
I have located a double belt balancer for my cvt. Seems I need also a double belt water pump pully. How is the P.S. pump pully driven on a 200 six without A/C? How is it driven on a 200 six with A/C? Is there diagrams of this someplace? In my Hanes manual it only shows pully drive design for a 302.
