Aftermarket Air Cleaner

I put a 250 with an RBS? carb in a 62 Falcon. I need a source for an air cleaner. I have the engine low enough to get 2" carb to hood clearence but if I put a stock one, or anything over 6" dia, the hood bracing interferes. I'm looking for any shape that will fit the RBS? carb.

I first bought one of those cheap mini ones (4")from the parts store for $15. I now have a 9" one I picked up at a swap meet but had to use the plastic ring that came with the mini one to get a good fit at the base of the cleaner.

You could try to find a Maverick air cleaner. the MAv' was equipped with the YF and RBS carbs and used a very shallow/inverted air cleaner. I used the MAv' air cleaner with 2Bbl adapter and carb after minor mods .

I'm also running a Carter RBS on a 250. I used to have the same air cleaner that powerband is running but I came across a member selling on that came from: http://vintagespeed.com/ and I like its looks better:

Mustangs and Fairmonts with 1bbl carbs have similar air cleaners that will fit.
