well, i splurged. the head and a purty valve cover for it are now ordered.
i held off on ordering the intake so i could decide if a 2v is going to be enough or if i need to bump it up to a 390 cfm holley. i'm going to have about 9.5:1 compression, clifford header, and a 264/264 cam to go with the ci head.
i really doubt the little 2v carb i have sitting on my shelf is gonna be enough, but i thought that a holley 2300 might be. i'd really like to run the 390 4v if it'll work.... for no reason other than liking the look of it.
