an LTD head question?

I have a question... Does a 6 cyl head from an LTD of around 1980 vintage interchange with a `65 200 head? I was at a local wrecking yard and i saw a couple LTD's with 6 cylinder engines and i am wondering if those are interchangeable with my mustang's head?

8) if its a 3.3l head then yes it will interchange.

An LTD is not likely to have a 200 in it--but likely will have a 250 and yes it is still the same head as a 200 ---OF that same year--it will bolt on and fit- but differences in log size(usually better), valve size(usually better), chamber size(usually less compression), and possibly carb mount all are apt to rear their ugly selves in relation to a 60's engine. Is it worth the swap? --Probally..

I may have been wrong about the car being an LTD but im pretty sure that is what it said on the back of the car.

HAHA i think i was wrong about the car being an LTD.It may have been a granada or something but with LTD badging on the back!

It was probably the mid-sized LTD. I have one with the 200 in it.
