This idea has appealed to me for years.
the 2.3 just isn't a very good truck motor, I got spoiled by a F-150 4x4 with 300 and stick shift.
Everybody thinks the v6 or v8 would be a great swap, well I have looked at the 2.9 motored Rangers and ya can't see the floor, no thank you.
Had thought of using the 200 however to bolt up a T-5 seems a 250 would be the ticket, add a GM type tail housing so the only real trick is retaining the hydrolic clutch?
I have spent the last few days reading the archives but didn't see anything about using the 250 stead of the 200.
