Has anyone ever bought from California Mustang (www.cal-mustang.com)? If so could you give me any insights into your experiences with them?

Yes, I have. Their prices are generally a little higher than some, but I've always found them to take returns back with no hassles. None of the returns I've had have been because they shipped the wrong thing, both times it has been poor fitting parts (probably not their fault) and like I said they took those back no problem.

I have purchaed several items from them- they actually have lots of Comet and Falcon stuff (not just Mustangs despite the name). No problems at all.

Real straight up. No prob with orders and they are shipped promptly when in stock. On the other hand, you can't really chat them up like you do at other part stores. They aren't much for chewing the rag over the counter, you know? All business-like.

Ok, a far far away insight here.

Done business with them a lot, and probably will do. I've got almost all the time an order open with them. My distance and being a non-US customer makes things a lot messier. Practically there are no chances to return anything as it just is not worth it, and the borders (the Customs etc) make it far more difficult anyway.

They make mistakes as all the people do, but they also correct the mistakes. For example, one wheel in a Magnum500 wheel set was bad, not very straight and worth only for a spare wheel in the trunk. They sent me a new one for free, and I can use the bad one for hanging garden hoses etc.

Products; they are pretty much the same quality as everybody's. Some of the parts are the same brands as everybody sells. Of those hundreds of items I've purchased from Cal I have had only two very bad quality items.

Bought a front disk brake set from them. Four lug. Kind of pricey, but it showed up promptly and it works. Nothing more to add.
