Interesting , thanks for posting this . i have the 200 log head , would be nice to have that 2V head . what do the 2V heads sell for ? how hard are they to find ? is that a big bell engine ? low mount starter ?
It's a 1966 200 Six Block Duel Bell Housing Bolt Pattern all of those small Six's are High Mount Starters. The Low Mount Starter Big Bell Housing Blocks were only made the Last year to Year and a half. However the Aussie Heads will fit on any year of the 200 or 250 Small Six Blocks, also of note is that the C. I. / V. I. Aluminum Heads are an up dated version of those Aussie 2V Heads.

100 % worth it ! if i was much younger and did my own work i would like to have that 2V head . so i look at pictures of what could be and dream on . i need to keep it simple and not create another hassle .
interesting this engine with a 2V head was changed out for a 302 V8 , in my area if i sold my car that's what would happen to it .
