Autolite 2100 conversion, float setting??? ??

I have recently installed an Autolite 2100 on my 68 coupe with the 200 I6 using the CI 1v-2v adapter. When I started it up gas was overflowing out of the two brass vent tubes. Has anyone done this conversion? I think it maybe an issue with the float setting. But the only information I can find about adjustments are for V8’s and not the I6. Any suggestions? :bang:

The float settings will be the same for a v8 or i6. What sort of fuel pressure are you running? Are you sure the float isn't sinking?

When I installed it I could hear the float/needle moving inside. It has been recently rebuilt/cleaned (gotta fish carburetors) with all new parts installed. I am running a recently replaced stock mechanical fuel pump with a inline fuel filter before the pump.

If it were mine, I'd pull the top of the carb, recheck the float level and check that the float is not retaining any fluid. Then hook up a piece of fuel line to the carb and blow through it while raising and lowering the float to make sure the needle is properly closing the seat when the valve is all the way up.
