Mine is all mounted up, but I have yet to drive it this way. The rear leaf springs and bushings are being replaced and until I can finish that, I can't back it out of my garage. Hopefully, this weekend that can happen.
I mounted an inexpensive canister type pump (it looks like a large fuel filter) on the frame rail, driver's side, just under the steering box. I then ran a steel line up the fire wall and over to the carb.
You're supposed to wire it to the oil pressure switch so if the car stops running, but the ignition (key) is still on, the pump will not continue to run. My mounting location is only inches from that switch. Of course you can ground it anywhere.
