Finished disassembling my block today and trying to ID some parts
Main bearings appear to be FM 2383 CPA L-STD UC
Only numbers on camshaft are 942036 A305
Only numbers I could find on pistons are "250 42 F" and on other side "50 42"
Engine had a composite head gasket and a all metal timing chain, looks like a double roller to me. No nylon was present.
The lifters fell out when I turned the motor over, and there is no varnish or sludge on anything. I have never seen a motor this clean before.
The tops of the pistons are sooty as is the combustion chamber but thats it. Top end of head is as clean as can be. No sludge or debris anywhere.
The main and rod bearings look very smooth and it looks like the bearings have just started to wear through the grey lead coating, only shiny parts are at center where main force of the thrust is.
Gonna send it to shop and hope that all it needs is new rings, bearings, and cylinders honed.
There is a slight ridge at top but once I took a red shop towel and wiped away the carbon buildup the ridge is very slight.
