Yestarday my car broke down in the middle of the road. I heard 2 big backfires and that was it. It will not start back up again. So today I started messing around with it and its cranking but it will not fire up. Am thinking of giving up on being a owner of a classic car for awhile cause everytime I go for a drive am always thinking will this be the day that she won`t start back up after I turn her off or will it cut off in the middle of the road.I had a old Ignition Coil laying around and I install it now it kinda starts but doesnt here is a video of how it sounds

can wait til I get my DUI Distributor I hate points now

Sorry to hear about the troubles. Having a classic as your daily driver is definitely a committment. I did it for about 2 years before I gave up. I also wanted the reliability of a newer car. That was about 8 years ago.

However, the 67 Mustang I now have has been a champ. I would definitely use it every day if I didn't have something else to drive as well (my F-150). I was actually nervous about rebuilding the motor as the stock 200 never let me down. The only upgrades I did was add aftermarket a/c and the petronix system.

But, I decided to dive right in and now have a completely new animal under the hood. Haven't fired it up yet, but when I do, I'm expecting the same reliability I had in the past.

yea tell me about it I want to get the dui distributor. just need to save up little bit longer and i will have it enough got it
