Check this out......its so good its almost wrong

Awesome. I didn't know that these existed :D . So same story as a 2v..? bolt up to a normal 250?

It's a conversion from regular log head.

Bit short on head pics with the gasket off. :?

Title should read- It's so wrong it's almost good.
He he now im confused. Its not pretty but i bet it works.
Addo, he listed it as a 4V head from some motorshop or something. Any idea what it is. Before i clicked on the link i hoped for a four valve head for our beloved pre Xflows

This is how they made falcon sixes go in the pree 250-2v days although this is a nice job. That head is around 1966-7 so its very old.

Those exhaust ports look pretty big. I wonder how well the porting was done, though... isn't it a bit tricky to open them up without messing up the head?

What do you think. I was keen, but now i'm not so sure :?

:) Good on the seller for doing it (the pictures) right. Thought he was foxing, yesterday.

If you're local, it's got to be worth $200 at least. Has to be a nicer way for handling the induction on a street driven car. The other criteria would be repairs needed to the extractors.

Look great on a vintage speedway midget!

Cheers, Adam.

if i hadnt spent so much cash on my xflow turbo id consider buying this puppy, new turbo manifold to suit, barry grant 4 barrell and boost the sucker!!!!!!!!! or, is the beer and port talking again...i think it is

Well, i've got someone geared up to do my shipping, is anyone here going to bid? No point fighting one another...

I'm thinking a pressure test and a surface regrind - $130, then bolt on with new head bolts ($30). I am being realistic, i don't want to get into it and throw loads of cash at it. Sure, mod it later... but for now i need to know what to bid. Oh, and maybe a carb too  - opinions on whether it will fit in an XA without taking tin snips to the bonnet?

555Ron, its come out of a TC Cortina so it should fit no worries, don't know bout the extractors though.
