CI T housing issue

Hey guys, did anyone figure out the billet thermostat housing fitment issue out?
I just checked mine today and there is not enough clearance on my 250. I'm getting a stock one to check it out, but don't know what to do with my billet one now.

I think there were two different ones, one for 170/200 and one for 250, perhaps you have the wrong one? I am in Antioch, and would gladly trade you my stock 3 month old one (I have a 200)

I spaced my fan by using washers. I double checked with Matt and confirmed that I had the one for the 200. The other option was to grind the outside of the housing with a dremel. Since i wasn't sure how thicknthe housing wall was, i went with the washers. It marginally changed my fan belt alignment. Not enough that I felt it would really change the wear time.

Well we have a stock one ordered, but rich, if you want It we can meet half way and I'll let ya have it in exchange for your stock one If yours has the plug on the side.
I tried putting it on an AL head and think it's too thin to grind down to fit honestly.

mine indeed has the hole in it, but I am not sure I have the plug (but could get one)...

I'm running over to the machine shop this morning and I will see if Dan ordered the t housing. If not I will trade you. If he did I'll still get the billet one to you. Just let me know a time and where to meet up man. PM me that info.

I hope it works for your project man and I do have to say your Econoline is super awesome!
You need to post some pics once you get EFI and turbo completed.
