its nice to be able to buy about everything I need from one place has anyone out there purchased one of there exaust kits yet? not sure wich one to go with also is there anywhwere I can buy a chrome water pump or timeing chain cover?
every time I turn around theres something else I think I need :rolflmao:

they are the nicest ive seen very good quality there a little more but worth it they cleared my starter with no problem ,
the coated ones would have been nice also

I'm always looking for ways to improve our products, so I went with a ball joint on the latest batch of headers, instead of a slip joint. This allows the lower pipes to be adjusted a little, for better fitment, and it makes it much easier to R&R the headers. The other benefit, they should fit the low mount starters now (which they already did, but the clearance was a little tight).

In the pic below, the bolts are threaded just enough to hold the pipes in place. Once the exhaust system is hooked up, these would be tightened down so the springs are compressed about half way, at which point you'd install a lock nut. This allows the exhaust system to flex a little, rather than being totally ridged.

The photo below shows the clearance on a low mount starter, however this was when we were still using a slip joint. With the ball joint, they should clear a little better, or at least enough to install header wrap between the pipes and starter. You could also cut the lower pipes and use a short piece of flex pipe to improve the clearance. On the other hand, there's plenty of room for a mini starter.

We also raised the number six pipe for more clearance around the high mount starter, which you can also see (if you can visualize where the high mount goes).

As far as I know, it's not a problem. The only thing you might need to do, is shorten the lower pipes. Or just eliminate the lower pipes altogether and run the exhaust system right up to the ball joint, which any exhaust shop could do.

I also will be going with the CI stainless on my project. the stainless look nice with the engines.
