Desperately Seeking 250-2V

Greetings everybody,

I recently aquired a 65 Mustang convertible with a 200 6 in it. I'm wanting to find a 250-2V head and intake manifold to install on a new shortblock. Why the US engines had that silly integral log intake is just beyond me. The problem is that they are VERY hard to find in the US now. I was wondering if any of you fine people had one for sale or could point me in the right direction to find one. I'm looking for a pre cross-flow head with a single 2V carb intake.

I really like the simplicity of the 6, but the performance with the stock log head is terrible.

try e-bay, if your quick there is a couple ending in the next day or so otherwise i know of a couple that might be for sale in melbourne but not sure of price or if they will pack and ship o/s

hey. ive got 3 crossflow 250 engines. i'd gladly part with 1 of them if you wanted? iam not ever going to use them all.

Chippy, thanks but I'm looking for a pre X-flow head and intake. From everything that I've read here and other places, it's the best setup to bolt to a US model 200 I6.

You can have mine for $550 AUST if you want it (but you will have to pay the freight costs). Only thing is its now set up for a four barrel carb not the original 2 barrel. Its done about 5000 kilometers on a fully reco head and should still be in very good condition. 1.5 on ex and 1.65 in valves
