Does anyone make a braket to extend the AC unit for Headers?

Does anyone know of any person or company that could make an extention bracket for the stock AC unit on a 200 ci engine with headers.

I know there is no way the AC unit will fit unless I fabricate a bracket and I do not have the correct tools to do it right.

If anyone is able to make such a bracket I would be happy to pay them.

Please advise, I would hate to take out my original AC unit.

Thanks

8) no one that i know of makes the bracket you need, but you can make a card board template of what you need and take that to a metal shop and have them fab up what you need.

Just have someone weld an extra inch to the A/C bracket nearest the fender, then redrill the four holes in the bottom of the A/C bracket, two on the old side and two on the newly welded side. All you are doing is moving the A/c compressor one inch toward the fender, this will allow the new headers to clear the compressor. When you get tired of the A/C make another bracket and bolt it to the A/C bracket to mount the new Supercharger you really wanted instead of the A/C compressor

Where I live, I'd rather have A/C than a supercharger...blasphemy I know. I'm trying to figure out how to mount the A/C so that I can also mount a turbo. I might just movethe compressor to the location usually reserved for a power steering pump, I need new A/C hoses anyhow. I'm switching to a Sanden compressor.

Anyhow, longer bolts and spacers on the bracket where it mounts to the block would work for up to about an inch of clearance. You might have to get longer belts for the alternator and compressor.

The way Mustangaroo posted will work, but you will have to cut the upright part of the bracket next to the engine and relocate that also. If your bracket is like mine, at least.
