Electric Choke

Hey Guys,

Finally got my exhaust manifold figured out. The one I have is made for a manual choke (not drilled) What kind of electric choke cover should I use and where can I get one for my 200cu/in. ? Thanks, Fred

Which carb do you have? Im not sure if there is a diameter difference in the coils or not. When I was looking at a conversion I just looked up a late 70's Fairmont. The electric ones are not cheap.

Hey, so is mine! Can you find any numbers on the carb? There were many variations and the numbers will be very helpful in answering your question.

In my limited experience with electric chokes...I absolutely hate them. As soon as I get around to it, I'm converting my Holley from electric to manual choke. The electric resets too fast and sometimes comes on when driving down the highway on a cool day. Highly annoying.
