Hello, everyone..!! I got a new ignition coil for my 215 (52 Customline) but the engine didn't seem to like it. The mechanic says it puts out too much voltage (40 000 I think ), and suggested to use electronic ignition, since it's more reliable. My question is: Is the electronic ignition really more reliable, or better ? I have read here that there is a Pertronix kit for the 223....does it work for the 215 as well ? Can you buy it online?
I tried to learn about this matter in this forum, but English is not my first language and it's hard sometimes to follow and understand some terms....so I'm sorry if I am asking questions already answered....
Thank you very much. I appreciate any help.
