That's just the casting number, and all it will tell you is the year it was cast, and vehicle it was originally desinged for. In this case, it's a 66 block intended for a Falcon.
That's a start. But, I need to know what size the engine is. My manual doesn't go to a '66. So, I can't cross reference it to find a chart to locate what each letter means. Do you know on the web where it has one? I looked with no success...ZZ
it's a 170 or a 200 I'm not sure thats why I need you to look and see about the freeze plugs.Thats the easiest way to tell as far as I know and be sure beyone a shadow of a doubt.
