Engine Damper Installer 200

Who has bought one of these that work for our 200 engines?
Where did you get the tool and how much was it?
I do not want to rent.

I didn't bother buying an installer, I installed the damper on my 250 with a mallet and a long bolt to suit the crank snout. Only cost was for the bolt.

I lined it up and gently tapped on the damper. Then used the long bolt with a few washers to pull it on the rest of the way.
If you do it this way make sure the bolt is long enough to get a good 1/2-3/4" into the crank threads (the more the better), otherwise you'll damage the threads in the crank.

I used the one that Autozone rents for free.

I've seen a poor boy balancer installer. It was a long bolt that would screw all the way into the crank snout. Then it was balancer, large washer, large washer, nut. The washers were greased on their facing surfaces.
Tighten the nut and it slides the balancer on. I recall that the bolt was really long, probably to provide sufficient threads.
