Hey just a question about the EST dizzy
Will it fit the 76DA block? The engine is fitted with an electric unit at the mo, but I dont need it as I have got an MSD-6AL and a fully programmable MSD timing computer, But I still need to distibute spark so thats why im looking at the EST unit or a gutted STD dizzy.

Duz any one make a crank trigger for the 250?

hey micko i got a efi dizzy which is same as est dizzy.i can measure it up for ya if you want,i think it should fit.it's the dizzy with the 6 point disc inside it and not much else,i've actually got about 10 or 12 units here on the shelf as they are about 100 bucks each from your friendly thievin wrecker, give us a hoy if you want one.cheers wonk

Cheers Knowlz

For some reason I keep thinkin that the EST is the same as the holden unit with a rotor button and nothin else

So its just like an electric unit yeah?

yeah man it's just got a chopper disc inside which just touch on a tiny pickup and it's got a three wire plug on the outside,i'll try and send apic to ya or post one up here.cheers wonk

It may not affect the intended application but.... I think there maybe differences in location of the hall sensor on the sensor plate between the efi and est dissys. Be careful too or it might be dissy gear revisted (again) .... See earlier postings.

Its all good Wagon
Im using the STD dizzy now and it has the crow gear fitted
