Exh. manifold flow comparison?

Has anyone compared the regular 300 light truck exhaust manifold with the 300HD exhaust manifold with respect to flow capability? I am concerned with the manifold itself, not the outlet, as I will cut it off and replace it with a turbo mount.

Probably not, but it is common sentiment that the HD manifold has a larger volume and should flow more.

Rather than cutting it off I'd suggest that you consider building a short adapter that would attach to the stock manifold and have the turbo mount on the other end. This assumes you have the room, of course.
